This picture isn't totally true to the finished piece... after the photograph was taken I implemented a support structure between the two levels of paper that created an even depth across the entire "page" or sheet. So, if you can imagine the shadows you see in some places evenly dispersed over the whole thing, that's what it looked like when it was totally done. Unfortunately I sold the piece before I was able to properly document the final iteration. I worked on this on and off over a period of six or seven months.
